Driving Lessons In Sheffield And Dronfield
 With BLUE CAR you will be taught to drive on a variety of roads, even travelling to different towns and villages. You will not learn to drive by only using the Driving Test Area. This means that when you pass your test, you will be able to make longer journeys, and go where you want to go, because you will already have experienced driving in different areas. This also means that you stand a better chance of passing your test, because you'll have learned to read the road and assess situations, rather than learn routes by rote. When your test date is getting closer, we will visit the test area to familiarise you with the 'hot-spots', where mistakes are often made.
We will also conduct realistic Mock Tests, so that you have an insight into the Driving Test Experience. Mock tests can be done with your instructor, or for a truly realistic experience, another BLUE CAR instructor. Your instructor will observe from the back of the car. The cost of the second instructor is £21.00.

THE THEORY TEST
To pass the Theory Test, you will sit a computer-based multiple-choice test. To pass, you will have to answer

THE HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST
At the same sitting as your theory test, you also have to pass the Hazard Perception Test. You have to achieve a score of 44 / 75 by responding to a series of video clips - clicking a mouse button each time you see a 'developing hazard'. The quicker you respond, the more points you will achieve!
